A small clearance job carried out by the team, to allow new landscaping to be undertaken. We also discovered the lost driveway hidden under the weeds and bramble.

(Pre-Snow) The team had pleasure in undertaking a small clearance job, in preparation for new landscaping to be carried out this year. As children play in the garden and there were a lot of thorny bushes within, it was thought best these were all removed to prevent minor injuries occurring. More suitable species will be planted in the future. Once all the trees and bushes were felled, all stumps were removed using a stump grinder. Hopefully, we will get to return to the garden again in the future and see the transformation 😊

Where’s Terry!! Yep, that’s him cunningly disguised as a large Pampas grass. Terry has been working on the grounds crew for a while now learning the ropes. He has quickly adapted and is a huge asset to the team. Later in the year Terry will be undertaking his NPTC woodchipper assessment and we know he will ace it.
This bed of Pampas grass was cut to near ground level and treated with herbicide to prevent regrowth. The stumps will be extracted in a few weeks.
The car parking area also had a trim up, to open space and tidy.

A few weeks ago, the kids joined Jay and helped remove this fencing, which was heavily covered in Ivy. As much Ivy was separated from the panels as possible and the fencing disposed of separately. The fencing was being replaced the next day by Charfleet’s fencing. The kids had great fun and enjoyed helping out. it was great seeing them working together as a team (yep, no bickering all day)
