Deadwood / Crown Cleaning

Thanks to Nigel at Carringtons Tree services for bringing me in today. We had a large dead Oak tree located in the middle of a very heavily planted landscaped area and located close to a large summerhouse. Rather than remove the tree completely, we removed the upper crown and side limbs and left it as a monolithic structure.

We are so lucky to have such lovely and interesting clients. The team removed large amounts of deadwood and a few larger damaged limbs from the crown of this pine tree. The left the tree safe from any more fall debris. Our clients not only treated us to cakes, but also showed us around their Varvo (Gypsy Caravan) which they are restoring and looks amazing.

We undertook a mission of mercy on this old cherry tree. The tree has been in decline for a while now. Some previous heavy pruning works (not carried out by us) had allowed advanced infection and decay to set in. Our client wished to keep the tree and we were happy to help. We removed deadwood from the crown and sympathetically the crown area to reduce weight from the very over extended bow. The next stage in works will be installing a brace to help support the tree.
