2nd Climber/Groundsman Position

Part time position

1 Year contract offered, following trial period.

Self-employed preferred, PAYE considered

Great rates of pay depending on qualifications and experience

We’re sorry this is not a trainee position.

 

Essential:

3 years industry experience (Any level)

Must hold basic NPTC or equivalent Basic climbing and Ariel rescue ticket.

Must be able to demonstrate safe use of a woodchipper.

 If your current tickets have expired, we will consider your application.

Be a team player and respectful to others.

 

Preferred:

Clean driving licence

First aid certificate

To demonstrate basic tree identification and knowledge.

Have a general interest in trees and the industry we are in.

To be able to work using own initiative.

The want to develop themselves further within the industry

 

Main duties

To individually, undertake basic climbing and pruning works under the supervision of the lead climber. (M.D)

To  (climb) alongside the Lead climber in more advanced jobs when required.

To operate rigging systems from a groundsman perspective.

To undertake hedge trimming works

To undertake groundsman duties as required including:

Moving produce to chipper and operating chipper

Clearing up!

Stump grinding

Tree planting
